Lori has called Seven Hills home since 1960, and she has been knitting for almost as long as she can remember. Having first picked up her knitting needles at the age of 10, she has spent a lifetime creating beautiful handmade items, including countless garments for her grandchildren.

This year, Lori joined the TOTS Blanket Challenge after being inspired by Margaret.
Since signing up, she has already completed one blanket and is close to finishing a second. Not bad for someone who insists she is “just an average knitter”. We think she is anything but!
Most evenings, Lori can be found knitting in front of the TV, adding stitch after stitch to blankets that will bring warmth and comfort to families in need.

After losing her husband 18 months ago, knitting has continued to be a source of purpose and enjoyment. She loves being able to use the skills she has developed over a lifetime to support a charity like TOTS and make a difference in the lives of others.
We are so grateful to have volunteers like Lori as part of the TOTS Blanket Challenge.
