The TOTS Blanket Challenge is a nationwide volunteer project that brings kindness, creativity, and community spirit together.

Here’s how it works:

Volunteers across Australia knit or crochet 20x20cm squares.
Our team of helpers then sew these squares into beautiful, warm blankets.
These blankets are donated to our charity partners to support individuals and families doing it tough.

It’s simple. It’s powerful. And it makes a real difference.

How you can get involved

Knit or Crochet Squares – any colour, any style, every square counts. Join a

Sewing Bee – help us sort, sew, or even learn new skills in a fun, welcoming space.

Schools, Groups & Villages – a perfect social justice project for classrooms, retirement communities, or craft clubs.

Not crafty? No problem! We always need extra hands to sort and stitch.

Everyone is welcome – kids, teens, adults, retirees… we especially love seeing our men roll up their sleeves and get involved.

Sessions run during the daytime and evenings, so there’s something for everyone.
