The TOTS Blanket Challenge is a nationwide volunteer project that brings kindness, creativity, and community spirit together.
Here’s how it works:
It’s simple. It’s powerful. And it makes a real difference.
Knit or Crochet Squares – any colour, any style, every square counts. Join a
Sewing Bee – help us sort, sew, or even learn new skills in a fun, welcoming space.
Schools, Groups & Villages – a perfect social justice project for classrooms, retirement communities, or craft clubs.
Not crafty? No problem! We always need extra hands to sort and stitch.
Everyone is welcome – kids, teens, adults, retirees… we especially love seeing our men roll up their sleeves and get involved.
Got a burning question? Visit our FAQ’s Page – if you can’t find your answer there, please reach out.
Our FREE monthly Sewing Bees are a highlight of the challenge. Come along to:
Sew squares into blankets
Learn to knit or crochet (beginners welcome!)
Share a cuppa and nibbles
Meet new friends
Sessions run during the daytime and evenings, so there’s something for everyone.
