Our 2025 Penrith Panthers Trees of Hope has been another success in securing us funding for our charity. This year we created a giant gnome resplendent with beard and pompom!
We were thrilled to be announced as the third place winner as part of the staff choice. This win included $2000 from Panthers Leagues Club who we thank for supporting local charities.
Second place went to The Haven who are one of our charity partners who ensure that our blankets get to women and children escaping domestic violence.
First place went to another charity partner of ours – Cancer Wellness Support who also celebrated 20 years in 2025, so a very worthy win.
Thank you to our volunteers for creating the granny squares needed for the gnomes hat, and and extra shout out to our Tree Committee who did all of the heavy lifting to get squares sorted, connected and installed.
The best thing about our tree? When it comes down after Christmas the squares will be turned into blankets and donated to those most in need in our community.
Now that’s Christmas spirit.
