Our 2025 TOTS Blanket Committee Announced
We had our AGM on Friday 30 May where we announced the new committee for 2023. Please join us in congratulating the following appointments:
President
Debbie O’Connor
Debbie started the TOTs Blanket Challenge in 2017. Even though she knows how to knit, she has only learnt to crochet in the past 2 years. Now she joins squares every night – even in summer!
Secretary
Barb Howard
Barb is the friendly face most of you will see if you are dropping off squares or blankets. She’s also the voice over the phone, social media guru and blog post writer.
Treasurer
Clare Lavender
Now that we are a registered charity, Clare is our Miss Moneybags.
She ensures that the funds we have been granted are used for all of the right reasons.

Jo Naghten
Jo has been with the challenge since 2022 and has been a huge support ensuring that we are Association compliant, that the website works and puts out any fires that crop up.

Helena Steed
Helena joined the challenge in 2023 and has basically been volentold that she needs to hold this position! Her friendly face is seen at every sewing bee where she takes all the unwanted squares and turns them into masterpieces!

Nicky Cooper
Nicky has been part of the challenge pretty much since we started. Recently retired, we are thrilled that she has put up her hand to join our committee. She crochets faster than you can read and is always on the hunt for perfect squares.
