Each and every blanket we share with the community carries more than just warmth. They carry time, care and a piece of someone’s life.
Each blanket is handmade by someone who chose to create something beautiful, stitch by stitch, for someone they may never meet. Along the way, there is a story – sometimes quiet, sometimes difficult and sometimes hopeful, but always real. That story becomes a part of the blanket and travels with it to a new home.
When it reaches its new home, it becomes more than just a blanket to keep warm. It is a connection between two people. The person who made it, and the one who receives it. A simple reminder that someone, somewhere, took the time to care.
Over time, we have often been asked if the blankets are available to purchase. It’s something that has come up more than a few times and something we have taken time to think about thoroughly.
What matters most to us is recognising and respecting those who take time out of the day to create the beautiful blankets that we share within the community. Every blanket represents countless hours of work, generosity and a story that someone has chosen to share. So, as we move forward, we want to be clear: we will only ever offer blankets for sale where we have clear and direct permission of the creator.
With that in place, we will be making a small number of blankets available for purchase as a part of our fundraising efforts.

Funds that we raise will go towards the practical side of keeping TOTS going such as administrative costs supporting day-to-day coordination and helping us continue to grow. It is about making sure this community and what it stands for, can keep going well into the future.
Because, at the heart of it all, this has never just been about the blankets. It is about the people, the stories and the quiet ways we can show up for each other.
